HUNTING FOR GHOSTS ON AN INTERNET NEAR YOU!

(NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Feb 1, 2010) The North Hollywood Ghost Strike Team (NOGHOST) is proud to announce that their web series, Bumps in the Night, is gearing up for a new season! After successfully dealing with a supposed haunting (the Lesbian Pool Ghost in Sylmar), Greg, Emmett, and probationary member John are ready to tackle any super-, extra-, or para-normal event or creature. For you. ON CAMERA.

An OCD ghost cleaning your house while you sleep? Bigfoot smashing your herb garden? A demon telling your girlfriend when you’re cheating on her? NOGHOST can help!

The first episode of Bumps in the Night received rave reviews from fans and new media outlets: Liz Miller from NewTeeVee gives it four out of five stars and calls it “surprisingly quick-witted,” Jake Weaver at Tubefilter (formally Tilzy.TV) calls us “creative geniuses”, and YouTube commenter Bucknik says BitN is “Interesting and potentially funny.”

The Bumps in the Night team is available for interviews about the subtle arts of ghost hunting or — if you prefer — about the writing and production of the series. Please check out our new content gearing towards our season premiere on Wednesday, February 17th at http://www.youtube.com/bitntv or feel free to contact us at bitnTV@gmail.com.

John Reha wanted to be a ghost when he grew up, but settled on being an actor instead. After convincing his parents that it was a valid back-up choice, he graduated from Drexel University with a degree in Screenwriting and Playwriting. He has appeared on the TV shows Quintuplets, Gilmore Girls, and How I Met Your Mother, and most recently appeared as a Slacker Kid in Live Free or Die Hard.

Emmett Furey has degrees in Film and Dramatic Writing from Drexel University in Philadelphia, where he cultivated his infamously overactive imagination. His film Origin of Species was screened at the 2007 Wildwood by the Sea Film Festival. In addition to being a ghost hunter, Emmett is a staff writer at comicbookresources.com. Emmett also writes, produces and stars in Fury of Solace, an online superhero musical which can be seen at www.furyofsolace.com. He has, in fact, never participated in a study on the effects of prolonged exposure to chlorine.

Greg Benevent has been hunting ghosts and a good life in Hollywood since at least 2003. After a life spent wanting only to be an enormous bottle of ketchup in his beloved hometown of Pittsburgh, he met John in the dark bowels of Drexel. Rumors persist he has interned for everyone from Star Trek: Enterprise to international bestselling author Caprice Crane. Hushed whispers claim he’s worked for Facilitator Films and Altered Visions, as well as the (sadly, now defunct) Deek Magazine, but no one truly knows. There are even darker tales that he has a stack of hand-written scripts and novels in his room that could rock your face into the oblivion.
